BUT WE CAN’T SEE GOD!

We can’t see God but there are many things that we can’t see but we believe in them because we can see their effects.

For example, you have never seen your great great, great, great, great, great, great, great grandfather. You have never seen his clothes, house, grave or any of his belongings. So how can you be sure he ever existed?

You know he must have existed because you exist.

Imagine that you left your house this morning in a complete mess after a party last night.

The beds were unmade, clothes were scattered across the rooms, chairs were on the floor, the dining table and kitchen was filled with dirty dishes and takeaway bags.

Now imagine you came home after work and found the house sparkling clean.

You would think to yourself who came and cleaned the house?Who arranged the furniture?Who made the beds?Who washed the dishes?

Even though you never saw the person who cleaned your house you would believe that this person exists because of the order in your house.

In the same way, the order that we see in nature and in the universe is proof of an organiser – God – even if we have never seen him.
